Education is one of the first steps toward a successful nursing relationship. The early days of breastfeeding can be joyful and for many, somewhat or very challenging.
Learn what’s normal in the early days, how to support baby’s feeding instincts, understand how infant’s cue us that they are ready to feed. How does birth prepare us for breastfeeding? How do babies create their milk supply? How do we know its working? We will address how to overcome early challenges and enjoy a beautiful nursing relationship with your baby. Also covers pumping, storing, cesarean birth and preparing for return to work.
It takes a village! Dads make the difference! Bring your partner, best friend or mom along with your questions, special circumstances such as cesarean or twin birth, and your thoughts.
