Renee’s most beloved teachers are the parents and babies that have so candidly shared their birth and new parenting journeys.
Moms & Dads Say…
Taking the [breastfeeding support] class together solidified our partnership in the process of breastfeeding. Renee made us both feel so comfortable. She was great at giving us valuable information, explaining things in a clear applicable way and listening and answering our questions. I really believe taking the class helped me see breastfeeding as a normal process, one with potential challenges, but one far too beautiful and important to miss. — Anna Hahn
Kennedy and I have made it ten months of nursing and are still going strong! Now that I’m back at work, I miss the group and the support that goes along with it for new moms. I can never thank you enough for keeping us nursing and getting us through some really tough times. — Candice Modica
As a father, I am very appreciative of how inclusive Renee’s breastfeeding class, home consultation, and breastfeeding support group were. I was able to syringe-feed my daughter and help both my daughter and my wife transition to breast feeding. Renee encouraged me and I was able to be very involved in my infant daughter’s life and her mother’s child-rearing challenges, instead of being consigned to watch my wife face the difficulties alone. — Christopher Stubban
I love the twins group at the Mother’s Guild! It is a special thing- parenting twins- and so nice to meet with other mamas and twin babies, spending some quality time chatting, sharing stories and playing with the babies. — Liz Sidener
We expected breastfeeding to be as natural & beautiful in practice as it is in rosy motherhood articles. It wasn’t, and we struggled. Renee was right there with us from moment one to catch positioning, supply, and other problems when or before they started, with fresh and gentle knowledge about WHY these issues arise, and how common they really are. She never even hinted that we “couldn’t” do it if we were committed, yet left space for us to find our own way…what a miraculous balance! — evan austin
